HAINZL supplied a descaling system for the descaling of rolling billets. The scope of delivery includes a stainless steel tank with automatic backwash filter, high-pressure pumps to generate the high-pressure water for descaling and four centrifugal pump units to supply these pumps with water. The pumps were designed to be upright to save space in the pump room.
The high-pressure pumps are set to the exact operating pressure required by means of a frequency converter.
The stainless steel tank with a volume of 27,000 liters was designed so that it could be shipped in a container.
