In 1998 I started my apprenticeship as electrician for low-voltage current at HAINZL. After my apprenticeship I got the opportunity to prove myself as head of the electronic series manufacture.
Over the next 4 years next to my job I successfully completed the evening classes of the technical college for automation engineering at which I could be sure about the support from HAINZL.
After the school leaving examination I switched to the electronics development where I am responsible amongst others for the development, the configuration and maintenance of programmes, testing facilities and testing devices.
It was clear to me to stay at HAINZL after my apprenticeship because it is a very dynamic company which supports young people and offers excellent prospects.
Anja H.: Commercial Administrator
When I started my apprenticeship as an office administrator in 2009 I still did not realize what working life means to me. In the following 3 years HAINZL has prepared me excellent for the professional world.
After successfully completing my apprenticeship I could stay at HAINZL and now I am commercial administrator at the sales of the hydraulic cylinder department. My tasks comprise customer care, handling orders and administration.
My daily work is very diverse and allows me to work flexibly and responsibly. It is never monotonous or boring!
Gerald H.: Design and System Engineer
After successfully completing the college for automation engineering I asked myself what to do now. At the company days in our school HAINZL presented itself as successful company with family environment which is very down-to-earth and therefore I decided to start working here.
In 2003 I began my professional career as design engineer. Several years later I was offered to switch to the technical product management for hydraulic cylinders. This was my chance to combine development and construction in a creative and result-oriented way.
Currently I am in a training programme for a System Engineer which lasts about 2 years. I am looking forward to be head of mayor comprehensive development projects in the future!
Bernhard K.: Head of Service & Maintanence
During my last year at school when I was looking for a job as apprentice, my relatives and friends said that I should send an application to HAINZL because this is an innovative and rising company.
After several discovery days also at other companies the company HAINZL appealed to me most. Therefore I started my apprenticeship as electrician in 1990. After a number of years of experience at site, in 2009 I got the chance to switch to the planning department. I was responsible for project planning, preparing of offers and implementation planning and could use my whole experience from site at the office.
Now I have got the chance to be head of service and maintenance. This is a new challenge for which I am well prepared. I particularly appreciate the positive and open working atmosphere at our department. It is very important to go to work with a good feeling every day.
Damir M.: Lead Buyer
In 1992 my family and I came to Austria and I started an apprenticeship as plumber. At the company HAINZL I got an employment as storekeeper and completed the final apprenticeship examination as warehouse professional.
A few months later I had the opportunity to switch to the purchasing department to work as lead buyer and HAINZL supported me with the necessary training (procurement training courses, English courses, etc.). Now I am lead buyer for standard and catalogue products as well as diverse components, handle investments (e.g. for the entire vehicle fleet) and negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers.
The company offers committed and motivated employees the chance to assume responsibility and supports them with individual measures.
Markus M.: Software Developer
My apprenticeship as „Electronics Technician“ (Elektroniker?) was very interesting and varied because of a large number of different activities and possibilities.
After military service I worked as maintenance and testing technician for electronic modules and control units. At the same time I attended the evening classes of the technical college for electronics where HAINZL always supported me. After the successful completion I got the opportunity for the position as developer at our electronics department.
Now I am responsible for the development of hard- and software of testing devices as well as for their maintenance. Because of this experience it is clear to me that HAINZL is an employer which rewards motivation and good performance and offers the opportunity to committed employees for professional and personal development.
Harald S.: Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager
It was the right decision to start my carreer at HAINZL in 1999 after successful completion of the technical college for mechanical engineering as sales engineer.
The positive impression of the company after my job interviews has been confirmed at the daily work. After intensive training of our products and active assistance of experienced colleagues I was familiarized step by step with the activities of the sales department. I received customized trainings for sales and law as well as personality training and built my own customer base.
Today I am Key Account Manager for the area of special purpose vehicles. The demanding tasks, an open and positive climate and an attractive working environment motivate me every single day.
Peter S.: Head of Competence Center Fluid Technology
I have heard of HAINZL already during my studies and was interested in the company because of the wide range of technical solutions.
After completion of my studies in mechatronics I started working at HAINZL as project developer in the industrial hydraulics department. In due course I took up the position as project manager and was responsible for my first team. At HAINZL I have the opportunity to learn continually about interesting and diverse fields of technology and manage exciting projects. From the beginning there was a great emphasis on my professional and personal development which motivated me enormously and helped me a lot.
Since 2014 I am head of the Competence Center Fluidtechnik. This is my chance to participate in a responsible way at the development of our fluid technology systems.
Matthias S.: Deputy supervisor of production
I started my carreer at HAINZL with an apprenticeship as machine fitter. During my training I had the opportunity to work in several different production departments and got a good overview.
Finally I stayed at the department for hydraulic cylinders and was responsible for fittings, worldwide maintenances and repairs. In the beginning of 2012 I was appointed as foreman and in autumn 2013 I became deputy supervisor of the assembly of hydraulic cylinders. My previous boss is currently establishing the production of our Chinese subsidiary company.
Thanks to this wide area of responsibilities my activities are diverse and versatile and I am faced with new challenges again and again. At HAINZL an internal carreer is no theoretical matter but common practice.
Thomas W.: Project Manager
My carreer at HAINZL began more than 25 years ago when I started my apprenticeship as electrician. Already at that time I appreciated our company philosophy of flat hierarchies and short decision lines.
After several years of work as electrician at site and later as site manager I got the chance to switch to the planning and project management of our electrical installation department. To acquire the necessary expertise, HAINZL offered me lots of professional trainings.
As a project manager I am the head of demanding projects in the field of smart buildings technology, for example different shopping centres in Vienna, industrial plants or logistic halls.
