The new Free City building with anchor tenant neoom, a clean-tech company in Freistadt, looks almost futuristic. Built entirely of recyclable materials and equipped with PV systems all around - both on the 4-sided facade system and on the roof - neoom's new company headquarters is unparalleled in terms of sustainability. The supply of electricity, heating and cooling as well as access to mobility are created and used directly on site.
The company headquarters was built in record speed, and the years of experience and incredible commitment of the HAINZL Buildings Technology staff played a major role. Our scope of services in the course of this project included the low voltage distribution, all heavy and light current installations as well as the installation, assembly and connection of the lighting technology. Furthermore, we were responsible for the emergency and safety lighting, the I&C cabling, the EDP cabling, the data technology and for the installation of the grounding and lightning protection system. The execution and planning of the fire alarm system as well as the building automation including access control complete our scope of services.
The tenants' entire fleet of e-mobility vehicles and the eight publicly operated fast-charging stations, which are fed by neoom's 1 MW battery storage system, provide further potential for CO2 savings. After completion, the premises will provide space for around 200 employees to work innovatively and sustainably - also accommodated are the regional partner "wir sind solar", as well as a tax consultant specializing in sustainability.
