Hermann: Growth with HAINZL technology

Due to the high demand for the new Hermann product line, eight new mushroom growing halls were built at the company headquarters in Ulrichsberg (Upper Austria) in the first construction phase. In these halls, king oyster mushroom, the main component of the new product, are cultivated by the company itself. This type of edible mushroom, which is still in rather low demand in Europe, is regarded as a high-quality and meat-typical substitute with a similar consistency and bite firmness.
Over a period of six weeks, two seasons, summer and autumn, are simulated in the mushroom breeding halls. The raw material for Hermann products can then be harvested by hand.

Following the first construction phase, HAINZL will equip further mushroom growing halls and a processing hall, in which the herbseitlings will be processed into the finished foodstuffs, with electrical equipment from January 2019.

Our scope of services included the complete low-voltage distribution system, LAN cabling (network technology), delivery and installation of all lighting in state-of-the-art LED technology including emergency lighting, the fire alarm system and all earthing and lightning protection measures.

Thanks to the high competence and reliability of our implementation team, this project was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of our client, Neuburger Holding GmbH.
